Kingston Immigration Partnership Annual Assembly

Kingston Immigration Partnership Annual Assembly

by Chantal Valkenborg

July 30, 2018

The KIP Annual Assembly, held at Memorial Hall on May 24th 2018, was well attended by community partners and members of ethno-cultural associations.

We unveiled our new visual identity and shared the new strategic plan for KIP. Our thanks to Stephanie Simpson, KIP Co-Chair for her opening remarks. The Annual Assembly was an opportunity for us to hear from our community partners on the projects and initiatives that have worked well and to help identify the gaps that exist in making Kingston a welcoming, diverse, and integrated community.

Aligned with our new strategic plan, we are pleased to share that we have held inaugural task force meetings for:

  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Prosperity
  • Welcoming and Connected Communities

As we move forward, we intend to measure outcomes using performance indicators. We welcome feedback from our partners and encourage you to connect with us.
