This year's Kingston Multicultural Arts Festival will take place at Confederation Park on Sunday, September 9th 2018 at 11:30am-5:30pm! The Festival is a non-ticketed, family event that appeals to children, youth, adults and seniors. Festivities will include live performances, art workshops and plenty of different traditional dishes from countries all over the world. The vibrancy and richness of this event is vital in promoting and sustaining cultural and artistic activities in Kingston. Experience different tastes, arts and workshops!

This year we have 6 FREE art workshops with local Kingston artists! Make sure to come to the festival and try your hand at:
- Arabic calligraphy with Jamal Saeed
- Chinese painting with Pengyuan Wang
- Mayan worry doll making with Yessica Rivera Belsham
- Rock painting with Mansoureh Pourmasoud
- Screenprinting with Barb Danielewski
- Watercolour painting with Ella Gonzales
The festival will feature musical and dance performances, including Chinese dancers, African singers and dancers, a Scottish band and Highland dancers, world drumming, Moroccan band Aryad (sponsored by the City of Kingston), Quebecois singer Marieme (sponsored by the Centre Culturel Frontenac), and the ever-popular Bollywood dance troupe Shiamak.
