What is happening at the Kingston Immigration Partnership in July:
Tuesday – July 10th 6-8 pm KIP Women’s Network (Calvin Park Library)
Topic: ‘Cultural Differences’
The session will focus on Cultural ‘do’s and don’ts’ in both professional and social life (for instance: how does a potluck work? What is the dress code at work, what to bring to a dinner party, how do I interact with co-workers).
Our guest Barbara Dick, TESL president will guide us through some activities that undoubtedly will spark a fun and engaging group conversation.
We will wrap up the session with a ‘Summer Mix and Mingle’, refreshments are available, however, you are more than welcome to bring something to share with the group if you’d like.
Meeting location: Kingston Frontenac Public Library – Calvin Park Branch, 88 Wright Crescent.

Tuesday – July 24th 6-7.30 pm KIP Business Network (Innovation Park, 945 Princess Street)
The KIP business Network is for all aspiring, new and established entrepreneurs who immigrated to Canada. The KIP business network will provide an opportunity for immigrant entrepreneurs and business people to meet, network and share their experiences and insights. Meetings will be held every 4th Tuesday of the month in the KEDCO board room at Innovation Park .
